The "Sealed Portion" of the Gold Plates of Mormon Has Been Translated And Is Now Available To the World!

On June 16, 1987, while working as a Security Officer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Christopher Marc Nemelka received from a resurrected Joseph Smith Jr., the calling and commission to translate the sealed portion of the gold plates that Joseph left sealed after he translated the ancient plates, which he had received from the angel Moroni in 1827.

Joseph Smith gave the plates back to Moroni after he finished the translation of the unsealed portion of the ancient plates of gold, which contained, “…an account of the former inhabitants of this [American] continent, and the source from whence they sprang. He [Moroni] also said that the fullness of the everlasting Gospel was contained in it, as delivered by the Savior to the ancient inhabitants.” (See JS History 1:34)

Subsequently, Joseph Smith’s translation was published to the world and has become known as the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. From this book, which is accepted as Holy Scripture by millions of people throughout the world, came many different religious groups, the primary groups being the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church), and the Community of Christ (formally known as the RLDS Church), whose headquarters are located in Salt Lake City, Utah and Independence, Missouri, respectively.

All those who believe in the Book of Mormon have been anticipating the day that the Lord would reveal to the world the translation of the sealed portion of the ancient record. Many believed that the translation would come through the leaders that have been ordained by the various Mormon sects to receive such an important work. Nevertheless, as a 15 year-old Joseph Smith received his calling as a young, uneducated farm boy, so did Christopher Nemelka receive his calling in the like manner, which came contrary to the accepted norm of those who have been looking for this work to come forth in the last days.

After many years of turmoil and personal tribulation, Christopher Nemelka received the plates in December 2003, and subsequently translated the sealed portion of the said plates, finishing the translation on August 11, 2004, and which is now published to the world at no cost as The Sealed Portion, The Final Testament of Jesus Christ.

A worldwide press conference will be held April 6, 2005. The press conference will be open to all interested media and the general public and will be held at the Chula Vista Public Library auditorium from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The library is located at 365 F Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
